The state of Virginia will only issue permits to residents.

Virginia permits are honored in the 35 states listed below:

• Wisconsin (Non-resident permit only)
• Wyoming

Keep in mind that if carrying in another state, you must adhere to that state’s laws, including age requirement for concealed carry.

The State of Virginia accepts all Concealed Carry Permits from other states. If you have a valid permit from your home state, Virginia will honor it.
