Schedule Your In Person Training with Live-Fire

The state of South Carolina requires applicants to complete 8 hours of in-person training which includes live-fire.

Call us at (843) 353-2908 to schedule your training with a Concealed Coalition state approved trainer. You must be able to demonstrate that you can safely and proficiently handle a handgun and ammunition.

If you reserved a second seat you must call us at (843) 353-2908 to schedule and reserve their seat. Same class reservations are required.

Fingerprinting

South Carolina requires all applicants to submit 2 FBI fingerprint cards when applying for their concealed weapons permit.

Make an appointment at an approved fingerprinting site and complete your fingerprint cards.

Apply Online or by Mail

To apply, you will need the following:

– Your application signed by you and your firearms instructor

– Firearm Training Certificate of Completion

– Copy of your Driver’s License or Photo ID

-Two FBI fingerprint cards

– SLED CWP Instructor/Student Checklist

– Payment of the$50.00 fee (certified check, cashier’s check or money order made payable to SLED).

If you are military, you must also include your DD214.

Check Your Mail

You will be notified by mail within 90 days if you have been approved or denied for your South Carolina Resident Concealed Carry Permit.
