Your Florida concealed weapon or firearm license remains valid for seven years. To ensure a smooth renewal process, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) will send you a renewal form with detailed instructions about 95 days before your license expires. If your license does expire, don’t worry—you have up to 180 days to renew it. Please note that renewals after the expiration date include a $15 late fee. However, if more than 180 days pass since your license expired, it cannot be renewed, and you would need to apply for a new license. If you need help with renewals, we’re here to help!
