“What do you look for in a firearm for everyday carry?”
I personally look for what I call the “Goldilocks gun” for everyday carry. I want a gun that’s not too big and not too small, but just right.
The “Goldilocks Gun” for Everyday Carry
I find the larger the frame of the firearm, the easier it is for me to shoot, especially under stress. The smaller the frame, the easier it is for me to carry. As a result, I’m looking for a balance. I’m looking for the largest gun that I can effectively conceal and carry every day.
This is different from person to person. For some people, the gun they use for everyday carry differs from season to season, depending on the clothing requirements and the weather.
So what’s the perfect gun for you? Not too big, not too small, but just right.
